Health Hack Academy Hackathon 2016

We need your help to iMprove the mental health & wellbeing among teenagers

Apply now to join the Health Hack Academy Hackathon, September 10,  2106 at H2 Health Hub.

Mental issues among teenagers are increasing and almost 60% of 15-year-old girls are reporting psychosomatic issues. Can better insights in psychology improve well-being? How can we employ new digital tools and communication channels to reach teenagers as well as professionals at schools? We need your skills and experiences.

Registration is now open and you can read about the specific challenges here.

Extended team of organizers & possibilites to get SUpport to test & Develop your solution

This year Health Hack Academy has teamed up with Gustavsberg vårdcentral, a primary care centre just outside Stockholm that is determined to be the best at treating mental illness. All teams will have access to experienced psychologists from Gustavsberg vårdcentral.

We also welcome SKL (Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions) as a partner, supporting that good ideas from the hackathon will be spread in local authorities and regions.

“Uppdrag Psykisk Hälsa” at SKL will be able to finance testing and prototyping of one or two ideas from the hackathon. This is a possibility for the teams of the hackathon to take their ideas/solutions to the next step. The decision is made by representatives from “Uppdrag Psykisk Hälsa” at SKL based on the ideas potential to spread and become implemented within local authorities and the national health care systems. Since it is not possible to predict the results from the hackathon, there will however be no guarantee that an idea will be selected.  If an idea/solution is selected they will be contacted before end of September.

a new venue
